من الغابات الكثيفة المحيطة بالمدينة و يبلغ تعداد المعتمدية 65 الف ساكن وهي من اكبر مدن
ولاية جندوبة و تاتي بعد جندوبة المدينة و طبرقة و عين دراهم و على خلاف طبرقة و عين دراهم
تخلو المدينة من المرافق السياحية
